Updated: May 3, 2023

If you're a new mom, it's normal to have worries about your baby's safety and well-being. However, if these worries become intrusive thoughts that you can't shake, and if they start to impact your sleep and overall mood, it may be time to reach out for help.

You may be experiencing a mood disorder like anxiety, and there is treatment available. Your doctor can help you with a combination of medication and therapy to manage your symptoms.

In addition to individual therapy, consider joining a support group for new moms who are going through similar experiences. Sharing your story and hearing from others can be incredibly comforting and help you feel less alone. You may also want to consider hiring a postpartum doula to provide additional support and help you navigate your new role as a mom.

Moreover, taking care of your physical health can also positively impact your mental health. Getting enough sleep, eating a balanced diet, and exercising regularly can help you feel more energized and better able to manage stress.

It's important to remember that seeking help is a strength, not a weakness, and it doesn't make you a bad mom. In fact, taking care of your health is essential to being the best mom you can be. Don't be afraid to reach out to friends and family for support. Remember, being a new mom can be challenging, but with the right support and resources, you can navigate this exciting time in your life with more

confidence and ease!
